5 Ways to Improving Breastfeed Relationship

Breastfeeding requires a good relationship between mother and baby. But sometimes it is difficult for mothers to do. Here are 5 ways to improve the relationship between mother and baby

1.Spend more time skin to skin with your baby.

When your infant is in close proximity to you, they will feel more at ease and comforted. To encourage your infant to breastfeed frequently, make plans to cuddle with them for a few days. Keep your breasts exposed if you sleep next to your child to encourage breastfeeding.

To keep your baby close to you all day, you might want to consider carrying them in a sling. As a result of the proximity, kids can unwind and become more at ease while being nursed.

2. Relax and stay calm when it's time to nurse.

Your baby may feel anxious if you are stressed about breastfeeding. Take time before the nursing session to relax and unwind. This can also make your milk letdown easier. To help yourself feel calm, you could:

·         Practice deep breathing

·         Meditate

·         Play soothing music

·         Breastfeed in a quiet, dim room

3.Be patient and give your baby time to re-establish breastfeeding.

Your baby's feeding preferences will not change overnight, so give them at least 1 or 2 days to become comfortable with breastfeeding again. Remind yourself that your baby is learning to breastfeed, so be patient with them.

So that you can focus on feeding your baby, enlist the assistance of family or friends. See if a relative can come over and watch your older children or bring a meal to your family.

 4. Praise your baby every time they show improvement.

Although your baby is still quite young, they can pick up on your facial expressions when you're close by. If your baby has a good latch or tries to breastfeed, exclaim, "Good baby!" and smile broadly.

As your baby attempts to breastfeed, be consistent and give frequent verbal praise.

 5. Reach out for support if your baby still fusses after 3 or 4 days.

If you've been trying to improve your breastfeeding relationship for several days and your baby is still struggling, don't be afraid to contact a lactation consultant.

They can provide you with specialized assistance, demonstrate various breastfeeding positions, and determine whether or not your baby is receiving adequate nutrition.

That are 5 ways to improving breastfeed relationship.
